If You Only Knew

“If this day you only knew”

If you only knew.  If you only knew how Jesus would show Himself glorious.  If you only knew all the battles Jesus was winning. If you only knew all the things that Jesus was protecting you from.  If you only knew all the good things He has in store for you. If you only knew the plans Jesus has in place for your life.

If you only knew the way He guards you from yourself.  If you only knew the victories that He is claiming. If you only knew the doors He’s opening.  If you only knew the joy He has waiting for you.

If you only knew...

If you only knew the way He was going to use you to advance His Kingdom.  If you only knew the vision He has for your life. If you only knew the missions He would place before you.  If you only knew the blessings waiting in the wings. If you only knew the neighbors and the friends and the communities He’s preparing.

If you only knew God’s Kingdom vision, you would be amazed.  If you only knew - you would be amazed. You would believe. If we only knew what peace really is, what faith really is, what joy really is, what holiness really is - we would believe it.  Sisters, God makes promises and asks us to believe Him. He invites to believe and trust in the promises He’s already offered to us - especially when they seem impossible.

It’s time to believe as if you already know.

Believe now - before you’re sure, before you understand, before you see the way, before His ways are obvious to you, before the impossible becomes possible.  Believe in Him now. Believe in His promises now. Believe as if you already know. Believe as if He has an answer to every problem, a solution around every corner, a testimony for every failure.  Because He does.

Jesus has the answer to every problem.  Jesus is the answer to every problem. Jesus is the solution around every corner.  Jesus is the testimony for a life changed - despite failure. He is faithful. He can do the impossible - we just have to believe.  So let’s do it. Let’s believe as if we already know He will fulfill His promises.

Father,

Thank You for planning on us. Thank You for building a life for us that is better than we could imagine. Thank You for choosing better for us than we would choose for ourselves. Thank You for Your mighty love.

Thank You for loving us too much to let us have whatever we want, whenever we want it. Thank You for asking us to wait on You so that we can grow in faith, so that our belief is bolstered. Thank You for giving us storms so that we can praise You in the midst of them.

Father, help us. Show us how to believe in You. Teach us how to praise You. Remind us that loving You is our life’s work. Give us the strength to praise You in the middle of uncertainty.

Abba, We love You. Change us for the better. Amen.
