Never Weary

He does not faint nor grow weary,”

I grow weary.  I get tired. I can’t run 100% of the time.  I can’t be “on” constantly. I’m so imperfect that it’s not even funny.  I grow faint. I grow weary. But He doesn’t. Our God does not faint nor grow weary.  The Father always has energy for you.

You cannot be too taxing.  You can’t be too demanding.  You are never a burden. You are not annoying to Him.  Even if you struggle with the same thing every single day.  Even if you bring the exact same situation to prayer every single day.  Even if it’s the same circumstance, the same sin, the same struggle, the same hurt - He doesn’t grow weary.

God never grows weary of loving you.

The Father will never grow weary of loving you.  He will never grow weary of helping you. He will never grow weary of delighting in you.  He will never grow weary of listening to your heart. He will never grow weary of fulling your desires.  He will never grow weary of pursuing you. Every day. Every moment. Every millisecond.

He always wants more of you, and He does not faint nor grow weary.

Father,

Thank You.  Thank You for loving us ceaselessly.  Thank You for offering us a love that never wavers, never wearies, and never faints.  Thank You for giving us the love we ache for - a love we don’t deserve.

Father, help us to receive that love.  Help us to receive Your great, great love.  Help us to be as patient with ourselves as You are.

Father, thank You, thank You, thank You for Your love.  We love You back, Father. We love You, Lord. Amen.
