Make the List
“Remember the marvels the Lord has done!”
When was the last time you listed the victories of God in your life? Sometimes we need the space to remember God’s marvels.
Sometimes we need to be asked,
What are the victories that God has worked in your life?
What miracles?
When you look back, where can you clearly see His hand?
Jesus says in the Gospel, “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons.” How much has the Lord done this for you? How many times have you been cured of a cold? How many times has the witness of your faith brought life to a friend? How many times has God used you to speak truth into lies?
YOUR TESTIMONY IS GOD’S VICTORY IN YOU.
God waits with eager anticipation to bring healing in you and through you. He longs to bring new life to your heart. God aches to whisper truth into your heartbroken places. It is an act of faith to let Him. But, remember the MARVELS the Lord has done! Look back, sisters! NOTICE God’s victories in your life!
Remember the marvels! Plans mysteriously working out, catching a flight you never should have caught, all the moments you were in the right place at the right time - these incidents are not accidental. That’s God’s victory in your life.
So make the list.
MAKE THE. BIG. A$$. LIST OF HIS VICTORIES.
Let it bolster you. Let your list remind you of His goodness, His faithfulness, and His love for you. And then, let His love shine out of you like a beacon.
Father,
Remind us of your faithfulness to us. Help us to recall the amazing miracles You have worked in our lives. Show us Your hand in everything. We know that You work all things for the good of those who love you - show us. Show us how You have worked all things for the GOOD in our lives. Remind us just how good and faithful You are.
And then, help us to shine the way that You do.
Teach us how to be beacons of Your love for the world.
